UGN Supports 2-1-1 Last year, UGN allocated $243,000 to local programs that support those in need. These programs address not only the issues of poverty and homelessness, but those of hopelessness and fear, as well. UGN-supported programs allow children to find places where they may heal, women to find safety from abuse, and seniors to receive not only a hot meal, but a human connection.

UGN, we know that finding help when you need it can be a complicated
process. Three numbers are about to change that: 2-1-1 is an easy-to-remember
telephone number that connects people with important community services
and volunteer opportunities. By dialing 2-1-1, callers can access the
correct resources for their needs. 2-1-1 offers phone numbers to health,
family and social support services in Jefferson, Kitsap and Clallam counties.
The confidential service will help reserve the 9-1-1 system for life
and death emergencies.
